Photographer Miguel De proposed revisiting the legacy of photographic development shops that were once present in Braga’s first-generation shopping centres, by leading an analogue photography workshop.
During the workshop, participants were guided in creating images that explored and questioned the relevance and function of these spaces, both for those who frequented them and those who worked in them. All stages of the analogue photographic process were covered — from planning to development and digitisation — as a tool to investigate and debate the role of these shopping centres in the current urban context.
